HR Generalist

Department: ADMINISTRATION
Location: Gilbert, AZ

We are the leading provider of Self Storage third party management services. Our talented professional employees work in storage facility locations in nine?different states with our corporate headquarters in Arizona. We are united with the common goal of helping our facility owners build value in their Self Storage portfolio. We are currently seeking a full-time HR Generalist to work in our corporate office located in Gilbert, AZ.

Who will you be:

The HR Generalist position will focus mainly on payroll, adherence to policies and procedures, employee relations, benefits, and all other day-to-day HR office duties.

Company Paid Education – PHR Certification

If you are interested in company sponsored certification, then this position is for you. Self-Storage Consulting Group will pay for the HR Coordinator’s PHR prep course and exam enabling this applicant for advancement in the HR field.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an HR role or similar work experience

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience processing payroll for 50+ employees

  • Commitment to the highest levels of integrity and establishing credibility, enabling execution and results

  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and collaboratively with Department Managers

  • Excellent communications skills representing ideas effectively both verbally and in writing

  • Leadership through influence style vs. command and control

  • Strong organizational skills – keeping timelines and meeting deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Processes payroll using ADP Workforce Now and ensures regulatory compliance.

  • Provides assistance and knowledge to all employees regarding HR and company policies and procedures.

  • Builds strong relationships with employees by actively engaging and maintaining consistent and positive communication throughout all of the facilities.

  • Assist in guiding the growth of the company through knowledge of teambuilding and growth-oriented strategies

  • Knowledge of recruiting to manage an employee who focuses on recruiting

· ClearCompany, or other relatable programs

· Microsoft Outlook,

Schedule:?Monday through Friday?from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. (in the office)

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $60,000 a year (salaried)
